The Unseen

By Deborah Sexton

All around us in other dimensions there reside beings unseen to us. Once in a
while they cross paths with us and in a fleeting moment we can see, feel, and hear them. For those who have special gifts the contact may not be so fleeting.

Some people love these creatures, but others fear even the thought of them. Some are playful, but others are known to be downright dangerous. Either way many humans tend to avoid them if possible

Creatures that can fool human sight—that is ones who can become invisible or are constantly invisible other than their actions on humans—can be considered to be a very scary idea. The innate fear humans have of the unknown or invisible is legend in itself. Yet, the creatures who make themselves unseen by human eyes are found in many cultures but tend to keep with the motif of being something to fear.

Creatures known around the world

Demon-Fallen angel, devil, fiend, evil spirit; incubus, succubus.

Fairy or Fae-A small legendary being of human form that has magical powers, esp. a female one. It is thought that a Fae is an alien.

Ghost-An apparition of a dead person that is believed to appear or become manifest to the living, typically as a nebulous image. In other words in the form of a cloud or haze; unclear, vague, or ill-defined

Gnome-A legendary dwarfish creature supposed to guard the earth’s treasures underground.
gnomes are suppose to be relatives of fairies, with a more rotund build. Usually only about 6 inches tall.
Around the world, gnomes are known under a variety of different names: Erdmanlein (Germany), Nisse (Denmark and Norway), Gnom (Poland), Tontti (Finland) and Domovoi Djedoes (Russia)

Incubus-A male demon believed to have sexual intercourse with sleeping women.

Sucubus-A female demon, who takes the form of a human woman in order to seduce men, through sexual intercourse.
