Israel Will Always Belong To God-Scripture

God chose the people of Israel to be a light to the world. He promised they would always be His people, and their salvation would be forever. He has become angry with them many times, but felt bad about it, and restored them. He promised His people that no matter what happened, they would always come out on top.

Here is what we must do concerning Israel.

I will bless those who bless you ….. (Gen 12:3)

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6)

You who call upon the name of the Lord, give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem as a praise in all the Earth   (Isaiah 62:6 – 7)

Let the priests who minister to the Lord, weep between the porch and the alter; let them cry out “spare you people of Lord”  (Joel 2:17 )

Is it over between God and Israel? Certainly not

Again I shall rebuild you and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel   (Jer 31:3)

Israel …. I have loved you with an everlasting love (Jer 31:3)

God’s Warning

Whoever touches you, touches the apple of His eye  ….. (Zech 2:8)

Some of God’s promises to His chosen people-Israel

For those who don’t believe the Old Testament is good for anything,

Paul in the The New Testament is speaking of the Jews (as he was and some of his close companions) and quoting from Isaiah. He and the Old Testament are not speaking of those who THINK they are the New Israel and have taken their place. A Gentile is anyone who is not Jewish. The Bible said Israel will be a light to the Gentiles and God’s salvation the end of the earth. Israel is always the Light not the other way around.

Acts 13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

Isaiah 42:6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 45:17, 25

17. But Israel shall be saved in the Lord with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.

25 In the Lord shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory

Isaiah 46:2-4

3 Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Jeremiah 32

37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Jeremiah 32:40, 42

40. And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.

Genesis 17:7

And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Genesis 17:19

And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Psalm 41 10-13

10 But thou, O Lord, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.

11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.

13 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
